Course outline:

Our German language courses are held on five consecutive days, from Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 11:45 AM with a daily 15-minute recess. The courses focus on colloquial German and dialogue practice and are based on materials exclusively conceived for our lessons. All the materials are for free. The courses are divided into four language skill groups. Each week three skill groups will be taught alternately.

In the afternoon of the first day all the participants will meet their course instructor at a café where they will receive exhaustive information on sightseeing destinations and excursions. This will be a good opportunity to get to know each other and to devise common activities.

All the other afternoons are at your free disposal. After finishing lunch around 1:00PM you are free to explore the local attractions at your heart’s content: (Johannisburg Castle, Collegiate Church, Schönbusch Park in Aschaffenburg or Brandenburg Gate, Potsdamer Platz, Alexanderplatz, etc. in Berlin) or you visit some other destinations in the environs of your town.

The course participants and their instructor will again meet in the evenings in order to engage in cultural activities, such as concerts, wine tasting or local festivals. In absence of such festivals the participants will spend a delightful evening in a typical German restaurant in the historical old city of Aschaffenburg or in the trendy quarters of Berlin to indulge in a glass of exquisite German beer or wine.

Optionally, you can also enjoy dinner at your hotel or in any other restaurant of your choice.

Please note that unless specifically stated otherwise, you are not obligated to order food in a German restaurant. Also, there is no cover charge. You can therefore enjoy an evening in a restaurant by only ordering drinks. As far as tipping is concerned, a rule of thumb is to add 5 to 10 percent of the total, rounding up to a full Euro amount.
